Parts Driver

The Parts Driver is responsible for the delivery and despatch of vehicle parts to customers and within our retailer group. The Parts Driver shows courtesy to all customers, always maintaining a professional appearance.

The successful candidate will be required to:

Develop and maintain exemplary product knowledge, sharing insight and expertise with customers and colleagues alike
Check invoices to ensure accuracy with parts received/for delivery; check parts quality; ensure safe transfer to storage location
Load stock ready for despatch; ensure van is kept clean, tidy and roadworthy
Plan routes in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner; keep customers advised of schedules
Drive vehicles with care, always staying within traffic laws; report damaged sustained immediately to Parts Manager
Undertake parts handover to ensure customers are well informed and that payment is secured
Report customer issues promptly and thoroughly to the Parts Manager
Ensure work area, appearance and all vehicles are maintained to uphold company standards and ensure health and safety compliance

Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years’ Delivery driver experience. It is essential that you hold a current and valid driving licence which is free from excessive penalties.
